Factory Five Racing Mk4 Roadster

This one is finished to the point where it is running and driving and passed state inspection and is Titled in OHIO.

All new parts were used except for the Engine block which was completely gone through with all new internals, stroked and rebuilt.

I started with the FFR complete kit and used no (zero) donor parts except for the bare engine block.

I am not listing everything that is included an an FFR complete kit as the list is way too long.

Here are some of the highlights

408 – Stroked 351 windsor small block
650 Holly carb on Edlebrock intake
Flo-Tek Heads (assembled in US with roller rockers)
Running right at 10:1 compression
Eagle Crank
Deep 11 quart Oil Pan
MSD Ignition with 6AL ignition control box
450 HP with 450 Ft/lbs torque (approx)

Ford AOD Auto Transmission with with Boss Hog Stall Torque converter (car does not lurch at idle and is very predictible)
This is usually a problem as people do not size the the torque converter properly with such a light car (typically they are still thinking “mustang”) causing them to have to stand on the brake at idle and also resulting in a jerky ride when driving in town at lower speeds. With the torque converter arrangement I have, even with the semi rough idle my cam provides, it does not cause this effect. Very easy to drive and predictible with no “jerkyness” or surging in and around town
Plus the AOD's OD provides a nice 1500 rpm purr when driving on the freeway at 70-75 mph.
Shifter is a B&M Quickslilver Shifter modified to look like original manual shift lever.

Car is assembled to the point where it was able to be inspected and titled in OHIO. Car has less than 1,000 miles on it.

The Bad:
Trans Oil Cooler was sized too small and burnt up top gears, will need to be rebuilt or replaced. That's why price is at 20k

In a nut-shell...What's left to do are the things to make it your own.
Body work, fit and finish, paint,
install hood scoop
cutout for side louvers and install
install sound and heat insulation and carpet
install bulb seals around door trunk and hood openings.
replace or rebuild tranny, install larger oil cooler is sticking with AOD
