I'm going to need to get rid of my donor carcass after this coming weekend. Is there a junkyard / wrecker service that will come tow it away for me? Or do I have to bring it somewhere myself? Free would be nice, but I think I remember people saying they paid about $50.

Here in Western Ma I was able to get my donor taken away for free. It was stripped with a capital S and what wasn't taken off was wrecked. I don't think there was a thing worth salvaging, they took it just for the steel. Best of luck. Bob (forgot to mention, ONE DAY SERVICE, too). The company that took mine wanted the title which I refused to give up. We compromised with a copy of the title (both sides) and a notarized bill of sale.

I picked up the yellow pages and called around, got prices between free and $65 to come and get.... the free guy won, came up a couple days after I called him and towed it away no questions (I told him the condition over the phone). This was in Haverhill though... Good Luck!

Most Yards won't take it without a title..You could just cut it up and send it in for scrap..You would not believe what you can do with a sawzall when you put your mind to it

Looks like I'll do some calling around. If nothing comes up, its off to Home Deopt to buy a couple new blades for the sawzall and go to work!

I got rid of mine this summer for $200 for the nose and doors with the provision that the guy whole car. No yard wanted what was left so we made two trips to the scrap yard with pieces. Sawzall works great!

I put an ad in the paper as a parts car with the word FREE. I had calls coming out of my ears. It was gone 2 hours after the paper came. I even had a call at 5:55 AM.
