While the car is in the air I’m doing something else I wish I had done when I built the car.

I’m welding the nuts for the seat bolts to the bottom of the car.

Every two years I have to change out the belts and that requires taking the seat out. I have to lift up the car to unbolt and reinstall the seats from underneath. Now I can remove and replace the seats without jacking up the car.

Transmission is back in the car,
I still need to grease it while it’s in the air.
With any luck I’ll get a test drive in later today!

Successful test drive Saturday!
Everything seems to be working great and all the oil appears to have stayed inside so far.
I parked her on a piece of white cardboard so I’ll roll her back tomorrow when it’s nice enough to open the garage door and check for any drips.

So frustrating,
My car is all ready to go and tracks are closed for at least another two weeks,

My first race weekend didn’t go as planned,
The track couldn’t get the tree to work! They fiddled with it until about 3pm, then it started raining :(

we made the best of if and camped at the track Saturday night.

over the winter I made some improvements to my car trailer to make it more comfortable as an rv and it worked great!

Finally got down the track last night!
Finally made a 100mph pass!
Had a great time!
I need to work on my reaction time but I was extremely consistent.

Had a fun weekend at St Thomas Raceway,
I arrived Friday afternoon and swapped the 355 rearend for a 410 rearend I had put together with c clip eliminators. Took about two hours.

somehow the car didn’t go any faster in the 1/8th mile than it did with the 355’s
Definitely driver error, need to work on my shifting.
