Dors anyone that is stripping a donor have a stock AC/heater box that they can give me? I will pay for shipping and a little $$ if need be. I want to investigate custom fabricating one into a coupe. Gary

I'm in the midst of stripping an '87 GT that has A/C. Wasn't planning to pull the heater box, etc., but if you want it, feel free to come on down. You pull it, it's yours. Entire interior is stripped. Still in my garage now, but will probably get rolled out after the holidays as I can't fit an engine lift in there.

Have fun getting the harness out all the way without removing the box. It is much easier to yank it out.

Did that yesterday Aaron!! Some prayers to the car Gods, some use of a BFH and a pry bar to enlarge the passenger side firewall hole and of course the obgligatory blood donation. Heater box is sitting there in the open, waiting for Gary's blood donation!

Wow, I can't believe you got it out with the heater box still in. I took it out and didn't shed any blood when removing the harness.
