I saw a post the other day suggesting getting the rear end alignment checked and adjusted. Mine is about ready to bolt in, powdercoated, upper link welded for 3-link etc. I called the "best" alignment shop in town and was told that they have to do the alignment on the car. The post I'm remembering seemed to suggest otherwise, but I can't find it.
Any thoughts
Thanks

Probably my post. I don't know what your shop is referring too, unless they think you want your pinion angle and axle-car orientation done with adjustable control arms?

I've yet to hear of an modern alignment shop that knows anything about jigging and performance aligning a solid axle. It involves heating the tubes to shrink them in certain directions and amounts. I've always had to go to a race fabrication shop that deals with asphalt circle trackers / stock car types, or do it myself, and I prefer to let the good ol' boys handle this one.
