i remember reading somewhere that you should have a "live-fused" wire going to the computer in order for it to maintain its memory. where does this wire hook-up to the computer? does it hook up to the red wire that runs concurrent with the green and brown wire from the engine compartment and terminates at the loose plug at the computer?
i plan on originating this "live-fused" wire up at the hot terminal of the cut-off switch.

Z-man,

Mike, What you want to do is go to your starting solenoid that is near the master cylinder and disconnect the wire that is Black/Orange and place it on the Hot side of your cut-off switch. This will now supply the EEC relay with power when the disconnect is in the off position thus know memory loss.Make sure you have the other end of the wire going to the relay, that it wasn't taken out by mistake, this relay is the one that is in the passanger footbox near the computer....
