FFR's 3-link instructions detail the mounting of the lower end of the axle limit cable to the oval shaped hole in the lower shock mounting bracket. There is no mention, however, of where the top end mounts. Not knowing how far the axle should be below the frame before the strap kicks in make it difficult to determine a good mounting point.

Can't speak for the 3-link, but the other setups mount the upper end in the quad-shock bracket hole.

It's my understanding that the limit cable should "engage" just before the shock extends all the way. I thought it was to prevent shock damage. So I guess I can mount it any way that works as long as the shock doesn't over extend. Does that seem right to you guys?
