Are any of you who are using Fortes LCAs mounting the shocks upside down? That is, with the spring adjuster on top? The FFR web site and assembly manual shows the adjuster on the bottom, but according to Mike the adjusters actually go towards the top. The car pictured on Mike's web site also shows them on the top. If they are not mounted this way, the shock will bind in the control arm. With gas filled shocks, the mounting position should not be a concern.

Hi,

With Bilsteins, you'll have to mount them upside-down like you are speculating and run a set of spacers that Paul is talking about.

HTH!

Randy, Mike did explain that to me, thanks. I did not get any spacers with the LCAs, the only spacers I got were the tapered ones for the ball joints. It took all of ten minutes to make a couple.

Cory, I spoke with Mike, its not an issue anymore. I was kinda wondering why I have not heard about it before. I thought for a moment that it might be an isolated case.
