Thanks Bill.. Day late dollar spent.. I did that conversion last weekend and went through NAPA's inventory 5 times.. I now own a real cool flare tool though.. ;)

I do not have the car on the road yet and had originally installed the Cobra R kit MC. I thought it felt fine but after the many posts I switched over to the Jeepie. Since car was sill in go cart form this was easy (once all parts were in). Have to say the pedal feels real nice and was an easy install.. Liked the look of the Cobra cylinder a lot better but if it brakes your leg using it what good is it.

We use the edelman 121034 fittings for a lot of things on the car. One of them is it goes right into the MC without any adaptors. This is the same fitting that goes into the front brakes without adaptors and the rear lines on the IRS without adaptors. Hope this helps. Cheers Richard.

Bill, looks like one of your #'s for the Jeep brake parts is missing a digit. Last item has only 5, should it have 6? I'm going to be traveling this road so help me out before I get stuck. Thanks

I fixed it, thanks. For the front line, I found a 3/16" female to 1/4" male reverse bubble flare. I think the part numbers are right, please let us know.

Richard - Is that part a "T" fitting?

I've just been going through this myself, trying to use a 1993 Mustang Cobra 1" m/c with the Mercury Villager/Nissan Quest remote-mounted reservoir, since it's very hard to fill a normal m/c if you use the power brake booster. I'll post pics and parts if (when) it works out, BTW.

Anyway, there is a MISTAKE on the Stant adapter guide sheet. The Weatherhead 1442 (Edelmann 271300) male end is a 10mmx1.0mm Male BUBBLE Flare(NOT "Inverted flare" like it says). This is a misprint in the Stant sheet. The 1443 (Edelmann 270300) above, same page, has the 10mmx1.0mm male INVERTED flare. Both fittings have a female 3/16 tube seat for standard pre-flared 3/16" tubing.

It just so happens that my m/c needs the 10mmx1.0mm bubble flare, and I just couldn't find one until I discovered this error.

I hope that this helps someone.

Forrest
