1. With the help of EdwardB. I was able to figure out how to adjust the ride height and at least get a good starting point. The only snag I ran into in the end was my jack was too big. Not sure what the best way to approach the frame to get it any lower. I was scraping the body. Maybe there is a 1/4 inch.

Anyways 4.75 in the back to start and 4.25 in the front. I will make adjustments as I go along.

My nose of the body sits really low. This will need to be adjusted. Working on that. I'm seeing how much you can actually adjust the body. Crazy.

3. Installed the rear quick jack's. Finishline did not make the holes big enough. Easy fix. Used some oil and the hole drilled easy and cleanly.

I'm not sure the comments earlier about the front body mounts connected to the front quick jacks. In reference to not using them. If some of that was a joke. I feel for me it's a good idea, especially since the nose sits so low. This will raise it up.

I plan on putting the bolts for the quick jack in backwards so I can use the nice stainless steel acorn nuts on the end.

Next is adjusting the body and bolting in the front quick jacks with body mounts.

1. Front Jacks
2. Raised the Front end
3. Body mounts

The body looks aligned except for the 1/4 inch by the door striker both sides. I may have to trim the trunk paneling for this.

4. Fixed the Caster on the wheels to center them in the wheel well better.

This messed with the camber. I will redo rough alignment before I drive it again.

5. Hood
6. Windshield

Learned how to sand some in the body and how to tap holes.

Next

Clean the garage lol

Doors
Trunk
Seats and belts
Pipes

Thinking about adjusting the fuel air mixture on the engine too.

Bolted the doors on just to see if they work need sanding. They are close.

My shinny acorns nuts came in for the quick jacks. Love them. Yet another tip from Jeff Kleiner.

Really FFR? Washers. I will have to come up with some dress up hardware on the latch and hinge. My Herb inserts are on order.

I will have to find a solid spacer or have one made.

1. Door latches Picture above.

The PS look good the DS ok. It rubs a little.

2. Truck and Latch

This need tweeked. Not easy getting this done. I thought I had it on good did all the work for the latch and now it rubs at the top and gets stuck. when it opens.

3. Put the nice hardware on the DS quick jacks. PS pic above.

4. Figured out how to tighten down the DS windshield arms. I just used a little longer socket.

Next

Side mirror
Gas cover
Hopefully side pipes

Not much done.

I put the pipes sans hangers. Spent a lot of time adjusting them. DS is good the PS still needs adjusted.

During the go kart phase I could not get the pipes to stay with out support. I went and got new hardware and now I was able to make it pretty solid. I still want to secure the hangers. Maybe the one that hangs with the rubber grommet. That can be manipulate later and will secure the pipes while test .
driving. In my opinion the pipes make the car.

I could not help it. I took my 1st ride today with the body on. I went around the block a couple times. Awesome!

Already forgot about the pipes. Lucky they were not too hot. Lol better get the shields asap!

It poped down the 1st block but by time I looped around it was gone. I went a 2nd time and it was awesome.

The DS wheel wheel was rubbing. I will adjust the height.

The brakes are no good. Spongy. So that needs fixed now. I tried to watch a video on bleeding brakes. I bought a brake bleeder kit. But I'm guessing I did not do it right.

Just the gas cap and filler tube. It was good to tie off all the fuel system. Love the cap.

I did start on my Breeze Seat Brackets.

Any issues with the low back seats interfering with the body? I'm wondering if I can fit the seats before getting the body on
I do not have any issues. It is strongly suggested not to put the seats in until the body and doors are on.

Everything went great with this project.

The PS a little closer to the door but I sat in the seats for awhile shifted them around before I settled. I went with comfort more than apperance but it all looks good to me.

One thing was I had to make sure of when I sit in the seat was my arm and the door side. I think you could accidentally get them too close to the door and not be able to ride comfortable with your arms in.

I know, right? I am going to make a solid spacer after I get the dimension correct. We’re on the same page.

I installed all the lights. Basically no problem.

They all working.

1. Headlight on/off
2. High beam/low beam
3. Running lights
4. Right and Light Turn signals Flashing on the correct side front and back
5. Brake lights on when brakes are pressed
6. Hazards all work

All work with switches in the correct configuration.

I will have to adjust the headlights still and secure the wires. The trim needs to messed with too. I figured it has to come off again anyways.
