I found an Auto 89' XR7 Supercoupe with 127k and the rear tag indicates 3.27 gears for $400.
The hubs on this rear are 5 lug.

Question:Are they the correct 4.5 spacing or do these Hubs have to be Redilled to 4.5???

Question:Were All Supercoupe IRS 3.27 Rears equiped with the Trac-Loc????

Thanks in advance

Al,

Those are probably yhe same hubs as the TBird and they need to be redrilled. Plan on putting in new bearings as well. They run about $25 a side.

You'll also want to replace the bushings with a set from Vintage. At 127K the old rubber is probably worn out.

3.27 is a good ratio. If it doesn't have an "L" after it, it may not be a locker. If it's in the air, turn one wheel while someone holds the other side, it the person turns with the wheel, good. If not, you have work to do.

Price is good, but you still want to the locker unit.

Hubs will still have to be drilled to 4.5 Those are 4.25

Junk yard dude says he'll swap 3.27 pumpkins for the traction lock Free of Charge if needed.

Thanks for the Speedy Response.
