I was installing my steering shaft and realized that it was really ugly. It's the long shaft that connects the short shaft at the bottom to the upper shaft that connects to the steering wheel. I'm considering making one out of stainless steel and polishing it. I figure that making a few of them would be just as easy as making one and I'd like to know if anyone is potentially interested in purchasing one. I have no idea about price but I'm sure they would be fairly inexpensive. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Joe, all of the upper shafts are solid and all the intermediate shafts are the hollow double D that the upper shaft slides into and then there is the lower shaft (rag joint replacement) that is solid.
