An easy couple of questions for you guys.

1. On the bottom mount I have two vertical "plates" that the shock goes between. This is what VPM refers to as "double shear" mount, correct?
2. How should the spacers be arranged on the bottom mount? Do I use the big spacer plus whatever small spacers seem right?
3. When I'm done should the shaft of the shock be perfectly parallel to the two plates the top of the shock is mounted to? This looks tough to do as the threaded aluminum cylinder that goes over the shock prevents me from mounting the bottom far enough forward to get it just right.

Thanks, I'm excited to get the car on the road with my Christmas present!

You do have the "double shear" mount. Use the large spacer in front and whatever smaller spacers are needed to get the shock to clear the frame and axle. The shock does not need to be parallel. The shock uses rod-ends to allow a small amount of misalignment.

Craig, Thanks for the response. The shocks really look spiffy compared to what I had in there before!
