It's not really that tough. I took my pneumatic cut off tool and cut little slices in the boss, parallel with the length of the pedal. When the gap was getting close to being wide enough to slip the pedal arms in, I took a file and finished it up (get a good snug fit). Then drilled a hole perpendicular to the slot, through the boss. Put the pedal arm into the slot, then marked where the hole in the arm needed to be. Drilled it and put some bolts with self locking nuts on and called it a day. Worked great. For one pedal (I believe the brake), I didn't cut the slot, rather just drilled the hole and mounted the pedal arm to the side. This allows you to play with your pedal spacing a bit to customize the fit for your paw size.
