I finished today. :D :D :D Well sorta. I don't think a car like this is ever really finished and I do have a few things to touch up. I want 15" rims and tires but the money well has run dry. The rims are off the donor and they look OK but not what I want. But I'm calling it done enough for inspection and get it on the road legally.

I will post to the gallery after I get it polished and take it someplace with a nicer back ground for the pictures. I have the first coat of Zainos drying now.

Let me say THANK YOU to everyone on this list and everyone who put it together. I don't know if I could have done it without you. Hope to get out there and start meeting everyone now.

While those rims are way off the norm, in that picture they really compliment the color and shape of the car pretty well. Not bad at all.

It looks great! Congrats.

The Moon Machine sounds good to me and more importantly The Wife approves.
Wow. I've only been done for a few hours and I already get a nickname. I feel so special. :D Thanks for the nice comments.

That looks great! If I hadn't changed my mind the day before I bought paint we would have been twins. I like "The Moon Machine" as a nickname better than the one I've given mine...."The Bug Collector". I don't know what it is but these cars collect more bugs in one night than my Ranger collects in a week.

The rims are off a 94 GT. They were the upgraded 17" wheels. The 94 GT's came with 16" stock. I don't think they look horrible but they are definitely not what I want. Money sucks when you don't have it.

Nice job. I "finished" my car about a year ago but still seem to be able to spend lots of time (and money)playing with it.There's always plenty of fun projects to do.I dyed my door straps with black leather dye from my local cobbler and they look alot better with the black interior. One of the few projects that costs less than 5 bucks.Have fun wih it!Pete.

Hey, I have the same donor rims and plan on silver w/ black stripes. Small world. I like the rims without the center caps better. Same as you, I plan on keeping the donor rims for a year or so then buy some Halibrands
