Here are some pics.... I used the Rustolium 2-Part epoxy from Home Depot. It's $60 Bucks a box... I always believed that preporation is key... so I scrubbed the oil stains... then power washed the floor... then used the cleaning solution to clean the floor that came with the kit...I'd say it took a couple of hours to clean the floor a couple of times. Then went to town painting it.... I'll let you all know how it holds up.... When I started the gray looked REALLY boring.... so I used the flakes... I think it looks great...

Looks good; I'll be doing mine in a few months in preparation for my build next spring. I'm thinking about going with UCoatIt.

How come you used the colored "flecks" on the floor? What happens when you drop a bolt or nut on the floor? It may be hard to find it with all that camouflage. Let us know how it works out.

Hey RR.... No as you paint the floor you "sprinkle" them on so you can add as many or as little as you want... The kit costs 60 bucks and is a gallon when done mixing the 2 parts together...I have an oversized 1 car garage and even painted, as you can see, the edges of the concret block... I used 1 1/2 gallons. WEll see how it holds up...

I'm thinking that with good prep work mine would last forever. See FFR2676 lives on an old area rug, and the other bay is empty. Geez, I could probably use house paint and it would hold up OK!

I used the same stuff on my floor over 1.5 years ago. Put a lot of time into the prep. The paint has held up fantastic; no marks from the engine stand wheels, hot tires, anti-freeze, etc. Good stuff!

I have had the Rustolium 2-Part epoxy down for three years now (no pretty flecks though). It has held up very well.

There is one area, about 6 inches, where the slab goes outside under the door that is decomposing, I assume from sunlight/weather. The paint is flaking off there.
