While at Sears Point this past weekend I was lucky enough to be picked by FFR to drive the GT-V8 for a video shoot. This car is SWEET! It drove really nicely and was really smooth on the road with the longer wheel base. The cars exhaust note sounds wonderful. The camera man and I took the car to the curvy road that leads up to the go cart track. I roared up and down that road at least 20 times while he filmed from different angles. All I can say is WHAT A TREAT! The car has a smooth steering feel and a great turning radius.

Thank you Factory Five for allowing me to drive your wonderful new creation. We were on the fence about building one and now I think you have pushed me over the line.....I think David paid you guys ;)

The ride was really nice and yes the car has IRS. The longer wheel base made the car feel more stable and more of a cruiser than the roadster. I loved the ride. The flaming river rack made the steering real easy but not twitchy. The car was very comfortable inside and simply done. It did get warm inside after I roared around for awhile. I think that could be solved with some heat shielding. Surprisingly the wind/air volume was hugely reduced over the roadster. I think the body shape, windshield angle and the fact that you sit down in the car did that.

I really, really, really enjoyed driving it. I didn't autocross it or anything so I can't really compare the handling.
