Does anyone with a FF using a big block utilize a hydraulic throwout bearing? If so, what peddle assembly do you use? That seems to be the biggest hurdle. Anyone with advise or help on this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks BrianC

Gatorac, They say you don't have to use the hydraulic bearing. When I say they I mean Factory Five. They say to use a 94 Mustang clutch fork and bearing and move the pivot ball to the opposite side of the bellhousing. But I gotta tell ya I'm having a hell of a time making it work. I just think it would be much easier to use hydraulic setup however the peddle assembly is where the problem is. That's why I posted this question to see if anyone is using the hydraulic setup. I had several guys tell me why not use the hydraulic setup but they were not building FF cars and because you have to use the Mustang peddle box its a pain in the keister. BrianC

It looks like you will most likely have to use a dual pedal/triple master set up.

It will take some custom fabrication and welding to get them in but they are nice.
I was hoping that I wouldn't have to do this.

A long time ago I put a hydrolic set up in an old CJ7 to eliminate the rod set up that would bind if you got the Jeep twisted while off roading. It wasn't that hard but only because all of the parts were sourced from other year model jeeps. The first year Wranglers had a hydrolic set up but used the same pedals and trans so all of the parts were easy to find and make work. Not sure if my story helps but I would try looking at other Ford products and see if you can't make it work. Good luck.
