If you're running the stock set up , with the stock exhaust headers , the bend is pretty severe...and runs close to the pipes and to the back of the tunnel....you'll want to secure the cable to the side of the driver foot box , and cover the cable nearest the header with a heat reflector of some kind...I used a piece of 3/4" angle aluminum , screwed to the driver's footbox, and covering that portion of the cable...Soon after my first few miles , I noticed the cable sheath was melting from the heat.
I have my speedo cable bent to a 1/4" radius. I have an electric speedo just for that reason. A small wire sure is a lot easier to deal with than that cable.
