As you may have read, I am having people help me finish the car. I have no clue how much time is left to get it ready for paint. It has the body installed(not bolted) and that is it. I need to add all the exterior accesories to make sure that they fit. What is the time estimate for this?
(I ask so that I don't get 20 people more than I need helping me. For all I know it is a 3 hour ordeal for experienced builders)

this is honestly the longest part in the build, parts like doors, hood, trunk, lights, windshild, visors, windwings, mirror, carpet, dash, seats, and anything that is visible is what you want to spend some time on. This is what everyone will see when they look st your car. All your hard work will be put to shame if you rush now. Trust me, this part takes a while!!!

You need to get the body bolted on in front, back and sides. Put the interior mirror on, and install the windshield. Install and adjust hood, doors and trunk lid. Make sure your happy with the fit of the sidepipes in the openings.
Are all the aluminum panels that will contact the body already installed? They need to be, before setting the body on for final fitting.

Aaron..

I am riding in the unpainted car these days. I went through what your about to do last month. Installation of everything is easy but as mentioned takes time.. If you are able to drive the car without paint I would do it. You notice things like door fit, trunk fit, and hood fit after the car has settled..

I replaced the side body bolts with a plate and stud epoxied to the body to rid the external bolts this was after I stared at the bolts and said to my self they have to go.. Remember it is easier to mess with the body prior to paint... Put the whole thing together the way you like it with all the bezels and little extras so you drill into bare body not new paint!
