I'm going to use Duplicolor engine enamel to paint my frame next weekend. How many spray cans do I need to do 2 or 3 coats?

You might consider picking up a few additional cans as well. For doing things like touch up. I have been told the color may vary from can to can depending on the batch number.

Not sure about the initial purchase. I've painted my side pipes 3 times now and still on the same can.

It took me 6 cans to paint my frame. The first coat took 3 cans. The second only two, which left 1 for touch ups, etc.

Excellent! At $3.23 per can, I'll have about $30 left from the $50 credit for no paint.
