If you can do it in 45min and have a true alignment, you're doing good. I spent 2 hours changing all of mine and doing the alignment. If you just try to get close you can do it in less but you should still check your alignment. I did mine on a rack so it was easier. Take the shock off first. The factory didn't tell you that but if you don't, you'll be in for another suprise!!

I also simulated my ride height with blocks so the alignment would go faster. Without the shock in the way you can easily take one heim off to turn in or out to help correct toe. You need to put the car on the ground with blocks under the frame and then crawl under to remove the heim shim/bolt to turn and then re-install to check the alignment. As I said, mine was on a rack so I wan't crawling around on the ground. After re-adjustment, just lift the tire/wheel assy. up and down to settle and recheck.

It took me 2 hours on the first side an 1 hour one the second side. I get smarter after seeing how not to do a task. If you check the thread count and confirm all the measurments you alignment should be fine.
