What are the "stock brakes", Mustang donor ones? Four wheel disc, or drums on rear?
There are lots of Daytona's running around without any braking issues, that don't have the Wilwood brakes. There are other suitable caliper manufactures, Brembo, PBR, etc..Good brake pads can even make a difference.
I don't have power brakes or Willwoods on mine, just the donor setup, but I did use EBC pads (after the stock ones failed to make me feel secure) and it was like night and day, They feel as good as my 2016 Mustang now. Yes, truly.
