Eddie - A lot of people actually velcro them in place so that they can be removed for an access hole. I tried to do that for a couple of days and just did not like how floppy they were. I ended up going to Home Despot and getting some 1" alum angle and pop riveting a small length of it to the top and bottom of the louvers. Then with the louver held in place by hand, I drilled four pop rivet holes through the body (2 over the louver and two below) and through the angle aluminium. Actually I drilled the holes through the body and "marked" the angle alum and bench drilled them. Then I countersunk the holes in the body so that the heads of the rivets would be below the body surface and pop riveted the muthas in. Body shop filled the holes and it worked out great.

I used industrial valcro from Home Depot. I cleaned off the inside of the body and stuck on one side of the valcro there.

I then bought some angle aluminum, pop rivited it to the top and bottom of the vents after I made sure the aluminum would be in contact with the body. Then put the other side of the valcro on the aluminum and it's worked great.

First of all I painted mine the same color as my stripes cuz I knew I didn't want to have to try and polish the raw aluminum. I then did like was posted before and bought some 1" aluminum angle from HD. I put a piece on the top and bottom of the louver, I thought about pop riveting but didnt want to see the rivets. I used a 2 part system from my local body shop supply called Duramix for bonding aluminum to aluminum and bonded the angle to the louver. I then used the same stuff for mounting the louver/angle to the body. Held it in place (with duct tape)til it was cured (roughly 4hrs) and havent had any problem. You could probably get away with using a 2 part epoxy or something like JB Weld if you cant find the Duramix. I installed mine after the body was painted cuz I didnt want to get a bunch of primer dust or paint on mine. Hope it works out for ya.
