I have seen a bunch of posts on this subject and I read the FAQ on it, but I still can't find a clear procedure as to how you burp air out of the cooling system. I know you run it until it gets hot and then put more coolant in it. Do you run it with the filler cap open or . . .?

Use a Moroso or similar inline T filler in the upper hose.Worth the few $ .That places the fill point nice and high.Make sure to put a cap or plug on the overflow tube so you dont get overflow onto the spinning belts etc.I used the stock style overflow from the rad as per original mustang setup.Nicely hidden away.Start the car up and top the t filler as is runs. Worked for me.

-I left the cap off the T filler and kept a jug of water nearby and every time I went by the car I poured more in. I didn't know that the car held that much water!

I also installed a small bleeder on the intake manifold.
