It appears ALL Cobraforum members recieved a invitation to vist the "New Cobra Forum" via EMAIL.
How did FFCars.com get ALL (thousands) of CF members email addresses... this question needs to be answered.

Simple, from the front page of the cobraforum. They publicly display everyone's email address to the world. and it's not thousands, it's more like 700... I got tired and didn't finish.

why does the question need to be answered?...I appreciate anyone giving me a tip that there's something Cobra out there for me to see. My e-mail address was "open" on the site. I still visit CobraForum and ClubCobra a couple times a week (or more) and will do the same here. I appreciate all of the sites & the effort that goes into them. Heck, I have a hard time keeping up the local FFROG chapter site (okay, here's a shameless plug.. FFROG-SEMR
It's been my experience that there's never too much Cobra stuff out there!

As I recall I had the option to "close" my email address and, having elected to leave it open, I kind of expected to get messages informing me of new opportunities to socialize with fellow cobraphiles.

Mostly, This post was an opportunity to see what my new member number was

I had mine hidden, on purpose....makes you wonder. Not that it would have been that difficult with a little digging. Just wasn't being publicly displayed on the forum. I also got a virus sent to me from one of the other folks on my part of the list.
