do you have one wire hooked to a red/l-grn wire(#16) and the other to a l-grn/red wire(#904)with a 510 ohm (or 470 ohm)resistor going from one wire to the other,or some other way,thanks.....vinny
What you wrote is the correct way to wire it. If you are using the FFR supplied indicators, they are light bulbs, not LEDs (at least that is what FFR supplied when I got mine). If you are using an LED, make sure the negative side is hooked to the LG/R and the positive side to the R/LG.
I wired the red to go on when my fan goes on s.t. I know when the engine is starting to get hot. I have no idea if I will actually find it useful, since I'm about a month away from hitting the road still...
