Hey guys, not an electrical genius by any means but I do alright. On wiring up my Fast EFI 2.0 system along with the Fast distributor/controller/coil. Instructions tell me to wire a couple of components into a switched 12 volt wire that is hot during run AND cranking. Where do I find that. I am using the Ron Francis harness with autolight gauges. I have learned so much from these forums but never had to post anything

Orange wire

It is a thick orange wire. On page 27 of the Ron Francis Harness http://www.ronfrancis.com/images/FFR06-INST.pdf is labeled
"Org-EFI or COIL" to the left of the ignition switch. I highlighted it in the attached picture.

I also have the FAST EFI. I installed a terminal strip on the firewall behind the dash and ran a wire from the Orange as explained previously. That way I was able to wire my FAST, Fuel Pump, I-Pod Power, etc.

Remember that is only a 15A circuit. You do not want to run to many other items off that wire. I would use the proper size fuse on each circuit you add to this connection. If you blow the main 15A fuse every thing else on the circuit goes with it.
