I just found a 89 t-bird sc. I am sure I can use the IRS set up, but what about the front spindles and brakes? Are there any other parts I can use from this car? It is an auto trans, Would that give me 373 gears in the rear? Any info appreciated! Lastly, what is a good price on this rear?
Thanks, Kerry

KCKeener:
A few forum members have indicated that the front spindles and brakes are not suitable for the FFR.
To figure the rear ratio spin the pinion input shaft and count how many turns by the amount the axles turn in one revolution.
If you count 3 and 3/4 revs you have 3:73 ratio.
The complete rear clip price varies but can be had for as low as $250.
I can't think of any other parts you might be able to salvage, but I'm sure others will chime in and help.
