Having alot of problems with hot starts and I was thinking of just moving the battery to the front of the car. Changed starter, new battery, selenoid and put heavier 1 ga grounds at both the rear cylinder and rear near battery. stock engine and base timing of 10 degrees. Anyone with suggestions would be appreciated.

I had the same problems untill I used a bigger batterie the mustang size only had 660 ccas (group 58 I think) and I used a group 34, with 1000 ccas it was slightly bigger, It fit in the stock tray with a little tweeking and I had to cut the 3 in sections of 3/4 in tubing off that spaced the old battery down, on the mustang battery the cell caps stick up half an inch on the bigger battery its the same overall height but the top is flush.
