I have found that there is supposed to be a spring clip. according to build manual ver 3A. My headlight trim rims havent fallen off yet but they are alwaysloose it seems the spring clips would make them more secure.

Does anyone know if I am correct and where that small part coule be obtained?

The supplied spring clips are not up to the task. Simply make your own. This is a common problem. A search of past posts should bring up a few "How To" Pics/Videos.

I appreciate the feedback i am not exactly sure what the clips look like but am willing to fabricate my own if i can figure that out. The build manual shows a "clip" being installed. But its not too clear.

They are just flat little preces of metal that screw in and hold the light. I too had the same issue with them being loose. Found I just needed to bend them a little so they applied pressure when screwed in

That's what holds the headlight in the bucket, He's talking about the spring clip that helps hold the outer trim ring. Two different things. The spring clip is sorta 'S' shaped, one end slides into the headlight buck. I don't know where you can find one though.

The flat side presses onto the bucket at about the 4 o’clock position. They are primarily an anti-rattle clip; the ring is actually held by the screw that goes through the ring and into the bucket at 6 o’clock. Like Rich, I don’t know where you’d find them individually.
