Yep, I went out and jacked up the Cobra and took this photo to confirm that the control plug is completely unplugged. This was done as advised by Ford Performance technical group. The alternator as configured in the donor 2016 Mustang GT with the ECU [electronic control unit] provided by Ford Performance. The voltage was 15.2 volts before the plug was disconnected and 13.8 after disconnection. Note: the silicone high temp shielding due to the proximity to the stainless steel headers.
