I'm installling the irs rear upper control arm. The manual says to install them with the provided spacers and washers. I can almost fit 1 spacer on either side of the rod end. do I grind the spacers down or force them in (they are only about 1/32" to 1/16" off. And where do the washers go?
thanks for the help

You need enough washers and spacers for it to be a tight fit. Try to fit an even amount front and rear. If it's a little off don't worry about it too much, you can compensate for that during the alignment.

On the Upper ones I put a Treaded rod with two nuts and washers from the inside of bracket to spread slightly. I did this every time I changed the adjustment of the hiem joint during alignment. I have Breeze seals and It really made them easy to insert. Dont put it through the bolt hole, place it in the v of the frame.

Spread the tabs, during welding they pull together. The all thread and a couple of nuts/washers works great. HTH, Cheers Richard.

They should go if you open the mounting.

I had one set go right in, the other required a little persuasion.

I doubt that you need to grind the spacer
