What is the correct or best way to lubricate the various rod ends on these cars? I plan on racking up some miles this summer and I am not sure how to keep these joints from wearing prematurely.

Specifically the 3 link ends and the shock ends.

Thanks for any info.

I simply turned the rod end sideways, packed some wheel bearing grease in it, and then rotated the insert back into place. I also put a light facing of grease on the sides of the rod end and used Seals-It rod end seals to keep dirt out of the joint...

You can get the Seals-It rod end seals from Breeze, but you'll have to trim all of your rod end spacers for them to fit (but it is worth it if you plan a lot of street use and don't want to spend the time in maintenance)...

HTH...

If you use the more expensive teflon lined rod ends there is no need to lube.In fact, any lube just attracts dirt/grit.I don't know for sure what FFR supplies w/ the 3 link as i bought mine used and purchased my own rodends.I hope FFR's are the good ones though.
