The topic says it all. Wife finally came around to seeing things my way for once and she agreed to go on a road trip. First stop, FFR! :D (Fact of the matter is that i don't really care where else we go after that!)
If anyone has any questions they'd like me to ask, or anything specific they'd like a picture of etc. I'd be glad to help/ask in any way that I can.
This trip will be my sales pitch....I'm trying to upgrade the status from 'We'll see..." to "Sure, go ahead.", and to this end, I'm asking if any of you kind souls who live near the factory or in the surrounding area would be kind enough to drop by and help..ahem...seal the deal with the little lady. :D

Thanks in advance,

Rob

mikiec - I intend to milk the tour for all it's worth! I'm hoping to make my wife want to place an order on the spot...money or no money :D

Micheal - That would be awesome. I'd settle for a ride in the passenger seat :D Here's praying for clear skies

Thanks guys

They are usually open in the morning only on Saturdays. You should get to see some kits being picked up.

Check out the indoor and outdoor Kart racing at F1 Boston! (And Cape Cod and Newport, of course)

Grok - Where is F1 Boston in relation to the factory? I will probably be staying close to FFr the Friday night, but am staying in Boston the Saturday night and probably Sunday.

TONY J - That's what I'm hoping will happen! :D

RacingRob - Will do.

F1 Boston is about 40 minutes north of FFR in Braintree. It is only a 15 minute ride from downtown Boston. It is a blast and I highly recommend it!

Racing Rob,

I asked that question last month during my visit. They said the emblems have dropped low on the priority list and wasn't clear when or if they are coming out. The prototype side emblem was on Dave's FFR (blue w/ white stripes)on the showroom floor.

There is also a nice little seafood resturant, Lindseys, just down the road, If you need to set a good mood! As you leave FFR, Tow road, take a left towards the highway but go straight for a couple of miles Lindseys is on the left
Best of luck!

Rob, weather permitting, I should be at the Factory also. They let me come by on saturdays and drool for awhile. I want my garage to look like theirs! I can also give you/yours a ride. They ride usually "does" it. See you there, Bob Kay.

Hey Rob,
I'm also going to be at the Factory on the 12th. You're gonna have a tough time NOT jumping in right there when you see me loading up my kit to take home!! This is my scheduled delivery date and I hope to be at the Factory early armed with my tow vehicle and Uhaul auto transport. See ya there.

Thanks for all the responses guys! You guys are great!

Dan - That's what i'm hoping for! :D How's your build going? I'd like to come by sometime with my wife to show her what is involved if that's ok.

Shawn - Thanks for the tip. Both of us love seafood....oysters and their effects ALWAYS help to set the mood :D

bk347 - That would be great! I would really appreciate having someone take my wife out to further convince her that this is something the WE really need! :D I already have a list an arm long of how I want to setup my garage once they finish building our house.

2savage - You might just end up with at least 1 stowaway. I don't take up much room...and I'm house trained :D

I'm so excited! Thanks again guys

Actually Rob it was my wife who enthused about the Cobra. She is a fashion designed in NYC and has an eye for style. Lets face it you'd be hard pushed to find a more stylish car than the Cobra. Add a pretty wife riding shotgun on a sunny day and the image is complete! See you on thw 12th.

Rob, no problem anytime. I've sent you a couple of emails but no response  I have some pics for you. As for the build, started her up no problem, just finished trimming the wiring harness and now comes the soldering, looming and fastening of the rest. Give me a call when you want to come by.

Take care,
