Does anyone know where to get the retention spring for the gas pedal, the spring that keeps the rubber part from falling forward? My donor was without one.

Russ isn't telling you what you should really do with your donor gas pedal (I guess he's being modest). You need to toss it and buy his pedal ( Russ's Garage ). Russ's pedal fixes everything that is wrong with the donor gas pedal setup. I messed with my donor pedal for quite a while before I gave up and bought Russ's pedal. Works great!

I bought one of Russ's pedals too. It definitley makes a big difference. If you dont want to spring for it, I have a stock pedal I will sell you cheap. I dont remember it having a spring though. I can check and get back to you if you want to go this route. I would like to get $20 to your door. I still suggest getting the Russ pedal. I think they are having another 3 day sale in the beginning of December. Maybe you could get it at a discount...Hell, ask for it for Xmas!! Good Luck
