I have the fuel rail to AN fitting adaptors for the stock rails... I need to seperate the original springlock fittings. Is there a special tool, or does one just pull real hard???

Go to your local parts store and get the tools. They aren't that expensive (plastic)and you'll have both sizes you need. I don't have a part number handy but mine are OTC. I'm not sure the Kragen type stores have them but a good Napa or other local shop should.

Oh, don't pull them apart. If you can, I'll NEVER pick a fight with you! :D

If you have the fuel rails off of the car, you can use a couple of small screwdrivers to spread the spring. Do not force it to come apart. When you have the spring spread far enough the fitting will slide off with little resistance.

Go to John Baker's website. He used a section of hose clamp to seperate them. I tried this method and it worked great....for no cost.
