no it will not be a problem
I am running a 351w carbed and mechanical pump. I ran it down the exterior drivers side and straight up to the pump. How are you routing the hardline?

I wanted it on the drivers side but I already had my brake line on the outside. I ran it down the inside of the drivers side but in a brain cramp dipped below the cross tube (can't go above due to floor). Although it is a nice radius right against the tube it worries me as the low point on the car. I am going to use an intermediate rubber section to go over the cross member rather than taking the line out again.

I had thought of that but it would be just for the rubber portion at this point...not sure its worth it when I can hop up and over on the side of the trans tunnel. Hmm...maybe I will cut out the bump, drill through the member, then slide the front hard line section through and use a very short rubber union.
