Has Anyone used a forward braced rollbar, i know thier not original looking on a 427 bodied car they were used on the 289FIA model but i gotta say i really like the look of the forward rollbar. Any suggestions, or whom to contact about this? Thanks J

If you are using the single roll bar, adding a forward brace would be difficult because it will interfere with your right arm. If you want a forward brace with the single hoop, you will have to have one bent to clear your arm, and then run it to the 4" round tube.

An alternative (and one a friend has on his Superformance), is to use the 4-point roll bar from FFR, and then add a straight tube from the middle of the roll bar to the 4" tube on the passenger side.

Hmmm, sounds a bit uncomfortable in the cockpit with the forward rollbar. i like it's appearance but honestly have never seen one in person i truly appreciate you comments.

If you go with the second option (wide bar), only the passenger is cramped because of the forward brace location. It's cool looking, but impractical for a daily driver.

On our 289FIA, you would have to be seven feet tall with very wide shoulders to have a problem with the roll bar brace. They raced with that setup for years - very sucessfully!

It doesn't even interfere with the passenger's comfort zone.
