anyone got a source for good fit mats?? i tried finish line, but with a dropped driver's foot pan they dont fit(almost need 2 pieces for the driver's side)/passenger side is close, but not that great.
PK's auto in calif will make them custom with embroidered snake, etc but they are about $105 per set.

I got a set of rear Mustang Cobra floormats from Mustangs Unlimited for about $15. They're rubber with carpet inserts and have the snake logo in the middle. You have to trim a bit for fit but it's very easy. The mats are great for everyday driving and carpet protection but if it's show quality you're looking for, these are probably not the ones you want.

John - we simply took some extra carpet, cut it in the shape of the two floor sides plus an extra 1/2 inch all around, and had a local canvas shop sew the 1/2 piece over to finish the edges. Presto - instant floor mats that match.

The mats were custom made by Lloyd's Mats in Ca. I made a template and then my upholstery shop (He is a Lloyds dealer) sent it to them. These are rubber backed carpet type mats.

I remember seeing someone had taken rubber Ford mudflaps and cut them to fit the footboxes. As I remember it looked pretty good.

Hi PK,
I've made mats before and are a 3-piece design with 3 options plus plain. They are "COBRA" scipt, "embroidered snake", red white & blue "COBRA" logo. They have a rubber backing with nibs on the bottom. I was just talking with the manufacturer, but they need 100 piece orders. These are really nice and I have pictures if anyone wants to see what they look like. These will be only made for the latest style footbox in the Mark II. The price was $119.00 on the last orders. They are worth the price. Let me know if any interest is here.
Thanks,
Mike Forte
