Just got a call from Mark. Couldn't hear anything but rumbling. IT'S RUNNING!! After a year and a half of hard work, his 351 Cleveland-powered beast snorted to life this afternoon and ran for the first time. Everything looks good, no major leaks, idles well -- nice and lumpy. His goal was to have it running before he heads to Run'n'Gun next weekend, and he succeeded. The plan is for him to pick a paint color at the Run -- the body is pretty much ready to shoot. Unfortunately, I don't know how to transfer 8mm digital video to the computer, let alone post here, so no pics or video. You have to take my word for it, it sounds GREAT!!
