I was asked by a seller what year I need. I didn't see it in the FAQ's or a quick search.

Has anyone done this with street performers in a MK III?

i put 1 in a MRII and had problems. factory five made a frame change and put a 2*2 tube on the outside instead of the 3/4 tube. it moves the fiero ebrake into the seats. you must move the brake lever forward more than the FAQ section tells you to clear the seats

You want the 84 to 88 parking brake lever. The instructions in the FAQ's are for a Mark I and don't work on a Mark II+. You'll have to make a bracket and mount it on top of the 2 X 2 alongside the seat. It took me a while to figure this whole deal out but I finally got it. Actually I was competely stymied for several months, so I worked on other stuff until I had no other choice but to do it. Turned out pretty good though if I do say so. I've got some pics if you need them.

We mounted ours to the 2x2 and recessed it into the floor. Had to move it further forward than the way folks did it with the Mk1.

Rob,
That's a Lokar universal parking brake cable. Comes with everything you see except I had to make up a connector for the parking brake handle. I made it by modifying a 4" bolt with a file. Pretty easy, actually.
