Yes, I'm a bit late on posting. And actually it's not, ah, really "finished" - still needs cockpit carpet, nose aluminum and wheel wells, another round of wire dieting, hood struts installed... on and on with small details. The point, though, is that after a morning thrash interrupted only by present-opening, it was done enough that I was able to take the missus for a Christmas-afternoon cruise (appropriately decorated, of course). Best Christmas present I've ever had!

Thanks to all on the forum for your help - whether by answering questions, or asking questions similar to mine. Fear not, I still have more questions as I finish up the last bits & pieces...

Jonathan - it's Ford Sonic Blue, just a touch more purple than Royal Blue.

J-Man - Thanks. How goes work on 3639's "sister ship"?

Tim,

Your car looks GREAT :D and what a nice way to celebrate the Holidays!

If I am not mistaken I think your car was on the same Stewart truck as my spec racer. Unfortunately mine isn't even in the go-cart stage yet! :( My engine, transmission and rear end are done and I just finished putting the final coat of POR-15 on the frame today. So now I can finally start putting everything together!

Happy Holidays,

Terry

Way to go Tim. You really got down to business getting your ride put together. We used to call it movin' out smartly. ;) Congratulations. You gotta be loving it!

Way to go Tim!!!! Looks absolutely great!

#3758 was delivered on 9-27 and I'm not even close. Should be putting the motor in sometime in the next two weeks.

Enjoy the drive - and think of those of us out here still building (and smile every so often when you think of us).

Tim,

Same old, same old. 3640 is going extremely slow. My father has been sick the last few months, and I have been helping him out quite a bit. Still hanging aluminum, and preping front & rear suspension pieces. Hope to go to the powdercoaters soon. I'm still waiting for my roll bar from FFR, weekly phone calls to Joe have not been getting the job done

See Ya

Tim,

Congrats on the car. I'm jealous. I am no where near completed yet, (I don't even have a motor ready yet). Just started wiring and getting the dash together, trying to work around not having an engine to install. Work has been busy, etc.....

Car looks great,

Ray
