We finally have the VIN plates ready! You can buy one by visiting:
http://www.ffcars.com/products/vinplates.html

We have a very limited quanity and will sell them on a first come, first serve basis. "Factory Five Racing" is used with permission from Factory Five Racing, Inc. "Factory Five Racing" and "Type 65 Roadster" are registered trademarks of Factory Five Racing, Inc. FFCars is offering these VIN plates as a special item and does not plan on stocking these items or selling these VIN plates again, this is a one time deal. If you have any questions, please post them here.

We can not offer engraving services.

Bill,

Can you post the link to sign up for Pay Pal? I will need to sign up so I can get a plate and some polish.

Thanks,

Ryan - I plan on going up Saturday. Just look for the red Cobra! :D Actually, find the one with a tag number "B2".

I have added a link to the VIN plate page for people who need to sign-up for PayPal. You earch $5 for signing up.

Bill,

The plate and PayPal sounded like a good deal, so I joined, and ordered.

Hi Everyone, just to let you know...

We only have about 15 of the smaller one's left and about 25 of the larger one's. Thanks for helping out!

are you going to get any more small ones?

No, I'm sorry this was a one time deal. Factory Five needed to approve the use of the name, and we were only authorized to sell this one batch.

We have a few of the larger one's left. They will fit on the top of the front foot box or would look great in the trunk.

Bill, why only make 40 of each when you know that you could sell probably 500 or so of the small ones? Just curious!<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

500 plates? That would be a big risk for me to take!

My wife and her family are in the ad specialty business and can make anything with a logo. I wanted a couple of VIN plates for my cars that were more authentic, but we needed 50 of each style to make an order.

I asked the forums if people would like to buy one so I could figure out if I could get rid of the remaining 90 or so plates before I ordered them. After getting a decent response, but not overwhelming, I asked FFR for their approval to use the name "Factory Five Racing", since this is a trademark. They agreed to this as a one-time deal. Only buying 100 plates limited my risk of getting stuck with plates.

So, the 80 people who get these will have something really special.
