Perfect Street and Track driver - Florida title: "1965 FFR"

This is my third FFR Roadster build, completed in 2007. It is an IRS car, with a 5.0 quad-cam modular engine professionally built in 2007. The donor parts used are: 1998 Mustang Cobra T45 transmission, spindles, brakes, steering rack, gas tank, wire harness. I installed a new FFR aluminum radiator, and other upgrades below. Paint is a beautiful Honda Suzuka Blue, by Frank Gifford of Classic Illusions body shop in Stuart, FL. My primary goal in this build has been reliability, simplicity, and good manners in every situation. The car has been 100% reliable for every mile. I’m selling it only to be able to build my next project. If you are looking for a Cobra to DRIVE anywhere on the road or track, with no worries, I have no hesitation in recommending my car to you.


ENGINE: Ford 4.6 liter 4-cam Cobra mod-motor, new Teksid block, stroked to 5.0 with new forged crank, H-beam rods, forged pistons all balanced and pro assembled at Thunder Motorsports Boynton Beach, racing Mustang specialists. All ARP fasteners. 307 rwhp, 310 torq per dyno. This engine is built for reliability, strength, and power. It is smooth and tractable on the street, great for cruising, and has a fantastic snarl from 5,000 rpm to redline of 7,000. Mobil-1 always.
• Electronic fuel injection – dyno-tuned by Thunder Motorsports
• Accufab throttle body, otherwise stock intake, heads and cams

• 4-into-1 FFR Exhaust, silver ceramic coated headers, NEW polished Stainless Steel sidepipes

• Mocal oil cooler and thermostat, all braided stainless steel hose plumbing
• Accusump 2 quart oil accumulator
• Powdercoated cam covers & intake
• FFR Aluminum radiator
• Breeze radiator shroud

• T45 5sp transmission

• FMS King Cobra clutch
REAR END:
• Ford 3.73 Aluminum ”pumpkin” casing, Traction Lock differential, built by Thunder Motorsport
• FFR axles and bullet-proof independent rear suspension components
• Professional alignment (front and rear) by Ernie Bello Motorsports

FRAME, SUSPENSION, STEERING, BODY:
FFR Frame, with optional IRS frame configuration and driver and passenger ceramic-coated silver roll bars. Originally painted with RustBullet, and repainted with the same at all wear points in 2013.

Mustang Cobra power steering rack

STREET WHEELS: TEAM III Halibrand-replica 17-8.5” front, 10.5” rear from North Racecars, Sumitomo tires 245/45ZR-17 front (new), 315/35ZR17 rear (excellent almost-new condition)
TRACK WHEELS: Bullitt-replica 17-9” front, 10.5” rear, NITTO NT-01 275/40ZR17 “R” compound tires all around, almost new condition.

Door trim panels black leatherette with storage pouches – not installed at present

MISCELLANEOUS:

-Florida title: 1965 FFR, street licensed and driven. -Car has just turned over 7,000 miles.
-NUMBER "Meatballs" are adhesive-backed vinyl, and easily removed from the car if you prefer the look without numbers. I will remove them for any purchaser if desired.
