I'm finishing up my rear suspension and was wondering if anyone is shimming the bolt that mounts the FFR rear lower CA to the frame? I can get 2 washers in there with the gap between the frame mount and CA bushings. I started tightening one and could see the outside mount arm starting to bend and stopped. Is it OK just to shim it with a few washers between the mount and the bushing sleeve? I have a feeling when I do that I will also need longer bolts!

Thanks,
Brian

Put the washers in, but be sure they have a small enough hole that the bronze bushing does not go through. The bronze should be locked in place by the bolt/washers, and the polyurethane pivots on the bronze. Get some 5/8 fender type washers and use as many as you need to take up the extra space

Happy motoring
