I have the FFR 4 into 4 headers for my 351 and the passenger side header hits the foot box..It pushes into the foot box at least a 1/2 inch..the driver side fits great with at least a inch of clearance around it... did I get the wrong passenger side header...thanks..later...

i just did a trial fit with my headers, same setup, i have maybe 6 inches of clearance to the front of the passenger footbox. i did the trial fit on monday and sent them off for ceramic coating on tuesday, so i cant recheck the actual clearance, hope that helps, vince

Wow... I have lot's o free air around the box?

I have a pre-MK11 and the FFR headers on a 351 with edelbrock heads and energy suspension poly motor mounts. I also installed my solonoid at the front of the pass foot box to keep things neat and close to the starter.

I have a MkII and FFR 351 4-into-4's. No clearance or interference problems at all. Have you double checked your motor mounts?

What could be wrong with my motor mounts...they are fully seated ...I think that Factory Five gave me a driver side 351 which works great it says 351 on it and the passenger side one must be for a 302...I says 2 on it in a couple places...I will call them tomorrow and talk to them...I took a few pictures with a friends digital camera and the header pushes in the footbox at least a 1/2 inch...thanks for the replys...

I called factory five...they messed up and the passenger side header is for a 302...that sucks...I want to make a different passenger side foot box that will have more room like the drivers side and wanted to send the headers and side pipes to jet hot...the headers are on back order and they cann't give me a time frame for them and I have to send the wrong header back before they will send me my new one...so I have to find a box that it will fit in and call them to setup a time for UPS to pick it up and I work days and the UPS guy usually just leaves me my shipments...at least I found out before having the header jet hot coated...later...and thanks for the replys..
