Ok, finally, here are some pics of 1417, probably the oldest unfinished car around. Gettting closer (took delivery, June 1998).

I have been around the forums for a long time, but very few have actually seen it, although 2 people did look at it before buying their own.

Here it is:

David,
You made up for taking the time, from the looks of it, love those silver 427 cars. Thanks for the pics.

Grumpy

p.s. If it make you feel any better there are quiet a few cars earlier than yours in the Registry that are still not completed.

See, I knew one of the Norcal guys would have to get on me. They've seen me, they just never see 1417, Hey Russ, it's mine,
, you can ask Tony L or Mike B, they've actually seen it. .

BTW, Streetrodpainter did the paint in 2000 and it actually has very light silver/blue ghost stripes.

David and Mike,

It's OK guys, #1415 (Xena) has been on the road since August '99 and she's STILL not done!

Thanks for all the great comments guys (and gals, thank you Mary)

Paul, no other projects in the works, I don't have a blue/white car.

Mary, I would expect nothing less from Russ.

Good luck Mike.

Al, I haven't seen Andy's garage so I don't know if the that's good or bad.
I actually have 230 or so miles on the odometer and am driving it daily.

Jeff, it is a Porsche silver.

Good luck on yours, John & Lee.

Dave,

She looks real nice. And for you doubters, yes she really does breath fire. Dave took me for a ride one day a few weeks ago. She has a real nice "mellow Marin" exhaust tune.

Hey Russ, if you read this I now have a Black Snake in my garage. Dave drove his "silver bullet" over last night and we had them side by side. It was a Kodak moment but we werelike two kids in a candy store. Forgot all about photo's and just talked Cobra's.

David,

Looks really, really good. And contrary to popular belief, I love hearing stories about other FFR's that took a long time but still got on the road.

David,
We are going to have to take a cruise around the Wine Valleys this summer.
I, also have seen the real thing, although I did not hear it actually run!

I'll bet you can't wait to get out and drive it!
