Do you think Factory Five will offer Christmas deals on kits? Should I wait and see before I order my kit? I have the funds and am ready to place my long awaited order.

Your best bet is probably to order a kit now and save $3,000 off the kit price. This way you get all the basic stuff you need and you can spend the $3,000 savings on sidepipes, bumper hoops, over riders, etc...all the Black Friday sale stuff.

Bill, I don't believe that FF will sell you a kit without the body.

You should have grabbed one of the base kits for $9999 in the Black Friday sale. Tough to beat that. Sell off the body for $3K and your sittin pretty. JMHO

Bill,

Will they give you the 10% off of your kit AND the credits for the body, roll bar and pipes? If so I would pull the trigger. I bought my kit two years ago during the Christmas special. I can't remember the exact details but there wasn't a discount on the kit, just the upgrades and wheels. I know you're not buying FFR wheels.

Plus I like a lot of other members are ready for you to start you're build.

I think every option now it a "bolt on" So If you got the base kit for 10K sold off the body and bought the IRS option Bolt on!. You'd still be @ 10k Not bad! Go from there!

IRS is not "bolt on" (3 link is however).

Bill, I think you've heard this before but the credit for deleted items is generally less than what you can sell them for in the open market or through the classifieds. Best to check to see exactly what the allowances are. Unless you simply can't have your cash tied up while waiting to sell various unused parts you'll probably be money ahead to take them.

JMHO, being in California, Miller or SRP may want the the body as a spare or body swap, or at minimum save them the shipping for a replacement body for a wreck. I would get it all and sell off what you do not need or want. The initial outlay will be more but the return will likely be better. HTH, Richard.
