Did you create the 3d model yourself? if so, great job! I sat down one time thinking about making a model for my library and then realized how much time it would take given that i didn't have a source to model from except for pictures downloaded online. What format is it in, and would you be willing to part with a copy of the source model?

Wow! you dail up guys don't know what you're missing.
But hey that's the price you pay - or don't pay :D

Great job Kouros. Just an observation, shouldn't the headlight shine into the darkness?

Take care,

Rickster,
It is both in Maya and 3D Studio Max 4.2
I'm planning to stick it in the next Playstation II game we are designing, si I really cant part the sources. t took me about 3 weeks to model it by eye only. I could not find any CAD sources as references on the web. I guess they are affraid that I make my own Kit to sell...lol...
The sources I had was a side, rear and front shots of cobras on the web from cars for sale or display. Thanks for the nice comments.

Dan;
Good eyes! yes thats whats missing. But It would have taken me days to render that in 3D. That process is very lenghty and could not have waited that long. What we call is volume fog in small amount which would display the light cones in space.

hmmmmmm...you got me thinking now....Actually the thought came to mind as I was modeling this one but, since I love the old style too much, I convinced myself that the lines shapes and forms of the original AC cars were so perfect that nothing could touch it. But, now that you mention it...I'd like to begin working on it. My personal openion on what of saw from this guys work is that the rear was drastically changed. I would stay extreamly close with the shape and lines but just make them compete with todays desin. I love the style of the Audi TT convrt. That car's desig is SOLID. Lets see what we can come up with....coming to you soon...great suggestion and thanks. Oh...By the way....How cool would it be to have it just bolt on to an FFR frame and chasis? so you could buy and extra frame and switch it week to week? Something to think about..huh

Then someone please point me to straight rear, front and side picture of the beast. I can't do anything without it. Most pics I've seen are 3/4 front or back.
